After Sasquatch I headed to Seattle for a couple nights to hang and shoot with good friend and Snowboard Legend Peter Line for a Transworld column. Pete took advantage of the light setup and shot some stuff of me. I thought these photos were cool, but don't be mistaken smoking killlls. Thanks Peter.

Sasquatch Friday - Evening Uno
Sasquatch!! Music is such an important part of my way of life. It will always be there for me, picks me up and keeps me smiling. Friedrich Nietzsche puts it best: "Without music, life would be a mistake.” It's unreal how it can bring people together, especially when shared live, and this year's Sasquatch was the perfect example. So many great times, memories, new friends, great sounds and huge hangovers. I drove down from Vancouver with my girl Alexa Butt. One boarder, and 6 hours in the truck to good time city: the Gorge Amphitheatre, in Washington. It wasn't until the turn-off, off the highway that we really saw traffic. Thank goodness 5 year Sasquatch veteran Mr. Jake Price himself, guided us to skip the 4 hour car jam lineup and slipped ourselves into the VIP camping area without any wait or fuss. There, we were greeted by an awesome crew and fimilar faces: Jake Price, Sam Hiltner, Alex Nawrocky, Cailtin Alexander, Howard Price, Macy Price, Danger Aeron, plus a few others.. We hit a couple vodkas, filled our pockets with beers, picked up our press passes and headed into the jungle (aka the venue) with huge smiles on our faces and a great weekend ahead of us.
The number one goal was to have a blast and enjoy music. I brought my Canon SLR and my S95 point-and-shoot into the Amphitheatre everyday. The idea was to capture some of the bands, but more importantly capture the people, the culture, the vibe. Lucky for me, the Price family owns Honey Bucket (port-o-potties) so we had 'box seating' to keep my oversized backpack and I was able to ditch the bricks and participate in the festivities without pulling a muscle or being completely over hauling the gear around.
Santigold, Girl Talk and Pretty Lights were the highlights of the evening. Back at the campsite we ate, drank some more (water duhhh), and cruised around following the music and people. Nothing but great fucking times.
