Eric in Baro Dry Wear

My friends Mike Cerka and Tyler Quarles over at Baro Dry Wear started a Technical Outerwear company out of Vancouver, Canada last year. The brand pairs trusted technologies with classic silhouettes—designed for those seeking technical outerwear without compromising style. Their pieces are versatile and stylish, fantastically fit and finish, great function, and super waterproof. 

I did a shoot with them in the fall. No professional models or stylist, assistants, location scouting, hair or makeup. Just friend, a couple stops on the Skytrain and a lot of jackets. It's amazing what you can shoot with a little imagination.   Here are some of my favorites with Eric Savics.

Maria Almenta in Barcelona

This model, better known as Maria Almenta is a spanish model and winner of the contest of the Elite Model Look Spain 2015. She belonged to the Top 10 Girls in the international contest of Elite.  Not only is Maria gorgeous, but she is exceptionally smart as well. We did some test shooting in Barcelona last month and our conversations were great. This lady has a bright future.  Here she is wearing and Alexandra Wang white stripped suit given to her by her friends mom.

Reese Peters test shots ~ Encinitas

Frank Models talent Reese Peters, and I, shot a few weeks ago in our neighborhood, Encinitas California.  Nothing planned just two girls hoping to create something special and have fun along the way.  Reese changed a few times in the car.  No H&M just natural.  I love how some of these turned out.  Reese is a perfect model, beautiful, young, talented and fun.  Here are some of my favorites from the photo shoot

March 28,2016

The final stop of the DC Hit & Run went down at Whistler Blackcomb last weekend. The course was steep with deep smooth bowl turns that had the 80+ competitors more managing their speed more than milking for speed. Rider’s ultimate goal was to get down the course as fast as they can while being judged on their style and trickery on the three placed features (40ft jump, rail section, and a mandatory 2 hit pipe run) where riders earned valuable points for time deductions.
